What is Educational Kinesiology?
Based on the concept that 'movement is the door to learning' (Paul Dennison), Educational Kinesiology is the 'drawing out' of learning through simple exercises designed to heighten awareness of muscles and their movement. These exercises can create positive changes in our lives by integrating the many functions of the brain, altering previously learned behaviours and concepts, and promoting health and harmony through whole brain balance.
- BRAIN GYM® - a series of quick, fun and energising activities which are effective in preparing learners of all ages for specific thinking, communication and co-ordination skills;
- BEANBAGS, MOVEMENT & LEARNING - dances, exercises & music specifically designed to promote co-ordination, balance and learning;
- RHYTHMIC MOVEMENT TRAINING - whole body exercises modified from spontaneous infant movements, proven successful in work with cases of Autism, ADHD, phobias and dyslexia.
- REFLEX INTEGRATION- integration of primitive & postural reflexes to enhance physical, neurological, emotional and intellectual development;
- RESET- re-alignment go the TMJ to address physical, emotional and developmental disorders.
